Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy
TechFoundHer Limited is committed to creating a fair, inclusive, and welcoming environment in which all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. We believe that diversity of background, experience, identity, and perspective strengthens innovation, supports better decision making, and contributes to more sustainable and inclusive outcomes. Our aim is to ensure that everyone who engages with TechFoundHer feels valued, supported, and able to participate fully.
We are committed to complying with all applicable equality, non discrimination, and human rights legislation in Ireland and across the European Union. This includes, without limitation, the Employment Equality Acts 1998 to 2015, the Equal Status Acts 2000 to 2018, and relevant European Union equality directives. We do not tolerate discrimination, whether direct or indirect, on any protected ground. This includes, without limitation, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, civil status, family status, pregnancy or parenthood, religion or belief, age, disability, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, or membership of the Traveller community.
TechFoundHer seeks to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all aspects of its work, including the operation of the platform, delivery of programmes and events, communications, partnerships, and community engagement. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, victimisation, or any form of exclusionary or abusive behaviour is not acceptable and may result in corrective action, including restriction, suspension, or termination of access to the platform or services.
We are committed to fair, transparent, and objective practices in participation, selection, collaboration, and engagement. Decisions relating to access, opportunities, or involvement with TechFoundHer are based on merit, capability, and alignment with our mission, and will not be influenced by bias or prejudice. We aim to design our services and activities in ways that are accessible and inclusive, and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate different needs where possible.
TechFoundHer recognises that barriers to participation and representation can exist and may not always be visible. We are committed to listening to feedback, learning from experience, and taking practical steps to identify, reduce, and address structural or systemic barriers within our sphere of influence. Where appropriate, we will use data and evidence to inform continuous improvement.
We expect all individuals engaging with TechFoundHer, including users, members, participants, partners, contractors, mentors, speakers, sponsors, and representatives, to act respectfully and in line with this Policy. Conduct that undermines the dignity, safety, or inclusion of others may be addressed through internal procedures, including the Complaints Policy, and may result in appropriate action being taken.
Concerns or complaints relating to equality, diversity, or inclusion may be raised in line with our Complaints Policy by contacting info@TechFoundHer.com. All concerns will be taken seriously, handled fairly, and considered in a timely manner in accordance with applicable law and TechFoundHer’s internal policies. Retaliation against any individual who raises a concern in good faith is strictly prohibited.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion are ongoing commitments. TechFoundHer will review this Policy regularly and update it as necessary to reflect legal developments, best practice, and the evolving needs of the community we serve. This Policy applies to all interactions with TechFoundHer and forms part of our wider commitment to ethical, responsible, and inclusive practice.
